EU Right of Withdrawal – Custom & Made-to-Order Items
In the EU, consumers normally have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of delivery. However, this does not apply to custom or made-to-order items.
All items sold by DesktopCockpits are made specifically for you, based on your chosen specifications (measurements, design, text, or configuration). Because of this, these items are exempt from the EU Right of Withdrawal.
Custom Orders – No Returns or Cancellations
- Once production begins, custom orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded, unless the item is faulty or does not match the agreed specifications.
- Please review your selections carefully before ordering. Double-check measurements, design choices, and your PC’s capability to handle multiple pop-outs simultaneously in your simulator.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
- If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match your specifications, please contact us as soon as possible.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery
- All delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees, particularly for international shipments which may be subject to customs processing. Any customs delays are outside of our control. We are not liable for delays due to carriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
- Customers are responsible for cooperating with any carrier requests, including customs clearance where required. Failure to cooperate, or refusal to accept delivery, may void eligibility for refunds or replacements.

Please ensure your delivery address is correct. DesktopCockpits cannot be held liable, and no refund will be issued if a parcel is lost due to an incorrect address.
Damaged, Delayed or Lost Parcels
- Delays, including extended customs holds, do not qualify as a lost parcel.
- If a parcel is delayed but still in transit, we will continue to monitor the shipment and support resolution, but refunds or replacements will not be issued during this period
- For certain destinations, delivery may take significantly longer due to customs procedures and local postal handling. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that delays of several weeks can occur and do not constitute grounds for refund or replacement.
- In the rare event of loss, replacements will only be issued once the shipping carrier has officially confirmed that a parcel is lost. A parcel will only be considered lost once confirmed as such by the shipping carrier following a formal investigation.
- If a parcel is damaged in transit, we can arrange a return and send a replacement, once suitable evidence has been provided.
- All orders are shipped with full tracking and insurance.
